The build
The brief
Plated Properly was a working kitchen with a growing following and tools that matched neither. Chef-cooked dinners, a new menu every week, delivered across Orlando. The brand had to feel as considered as the food, the storefront had to sell a menu that changes every seven days, and the operation needed software that could keep pace with a kitchen instead of a spreadsheet pretending to.
What we built
The identity came first, then the storefront it lives in: this week's menu with calories and protein on every plate, glycemic tags, delivery checked by ZIP code, and membership plans from five meals a week to fifteen, with skip, swap and pause built in rather than buried. Then the layer most studios never touch — a custom admin and CRM, with automations carrying the week's rhythm, so menus, orders, plans and customers live in one system built for this business alone.
Decisions that shaped it
A weekly menu is a content problem disguised as a design problem: whatever is on the site on Monday must be replaced by Sunday without a developer. So the storefront was built to be fed by the admin, and the admin was built for a kitchen — fast entry, no jargon. Macros sit on the card rather than behind a click, because the people who buy this food are counting them, and a lock-in-free plan is stated up front for the same reason: the objection gets answered before it forms.
What's live now
Plated Properly runs on it daily at platedproperly.com — the menu, the plans, the catering, and the operating layer behind them. It remains our most complete engagement: strategy, brand, storefront, admin, CRM and automations from one studio.
In short
Plated Properly came to us as a working kitchen with a growing following — and tools that matched neither. The brand needed to feel as considered as the food, and the operation needed software that could keep pace with it.
We built the identity and the storefront first: weekly menus, meal plans, and catering, presented with the calm of a set table. Then the layer most studios never touch — a custom admin portal and CRM, with automations carrying the week's rhythm, so orders, menus, and customers live in one system built for this business alone.
The result is a brand that runs as well as it looks, and a kitchen that spends its hours cooking instead of administrating.
